Having been sightseeing for ,out of the morning we needed a rest and food.We noticed a free table outside on rue beaubourg and it wasn't until we sat down that I realised it was a sausage cafe.I confess I'm not a great fan of sausages but thought it would fill a gap and besides I needed to sit for a while - so with no expectations I ordered the set meal and chose a home made sausage with veg etc from the varied menu.It came with a number of different sauces for me to try and was absolutely delicious! So much so if we had been staying another day I'd have gone back to try one of their other homemade varieties and the price was a bargain too!
Next to Beaubourg/Pompidou center, home-made and regional food that specialized on sausages from France. Very warm welcome from the owner, excellent food in a clean environment - gastro style restaurant . The price cannot be beat.
Very warm welcome, delicious sausages and generous portions. Staff took time to explain options to us which was much appreciated. Great choice near Center Pompidou.

Comfortably sized servings of quality sausages with great homecooked vegetable side dishes. Don't know a thing about French sausage culture, so can't rate the meat apart from the fact it was delicious. However, with excellent beer and ambiance, Saucette proved a perfect pit stop and provided a reasonably priced meal that set us up for hours of happy browsing at the nearby Pompidou Centre.
We had a menu of saussage, one with sauerkraut and one plane. You can choose between a collection of different homemade french saussages.
