South Main Cafe - Paris

This little place was a breakfast pit stop on our way to Broken Bow. Wow! It will not disappoint! The food was quick, hot, and delicious. Plus, our waitress was amazing! Her name is Lisa. You must stop by and say HI to her! She was so kind and generous with our whole experience. Thank you, Lisa!

Down home atmosephere, cooking and service. Very good food. Great prices!

I've been running into the same problem lately. I ordered a Spanish omelette which is supposed to have jalapenos in it. There were none. I asked the waitress why it didn't have them and she said, oh, she probably forgot to put them in there. There was about a tablespoon of hash browns, mashed out flat and cooked to a crisp about half the size of a dollar and about 1/8 thick. Both items were very greasy. Inside and out. I'm an excellent cook and I know it doesn't take much oil to cook an omelette. I hate leaving bad reviews but I'm tired of paying more and getting less besides the low quality.

The Chicken Fried Steak was a little chewy. The bathroom was horrible. It was just barely a notch above an outhouse. The included sides and desert were tolerable. We will not be visiting again.

Classic small town diner. Good, cheap food. Honestly the best pancakes I've ever had. Would definitely recommend the place, and plan on returning more often.
