We happened on this restaurant while looking for a place to have a small snack for lunch. We were not disappointed. The staff is very friendly, patient and obviously proud of their food. Indeed the snacks we had (an arancina al ragu and a piadina...with tomatoes, mozzarella and pesto) were both extremely good. The sweets were wonderful too. Hats off to the gentleman (wearing a Hawaian-style shirt) who served us for h... View all feedback.
What Ransom Fay doesn't like about Made in Italy:
Les parts de pizza sont bonnes mais pas exceptionnelles.Nous avons pris une part de pâtes au saumon, malheureusement il n y avait pas beaucoup de saumon.La prochaine fois je testerai la pizzeria d en face qui propose le même concept. View all feedback.
Not a real restaurant, more like snack, but finally authentic italian food owned by a real Italian! Pizzas, panini, piadina, fresh italian salad and home made dessert. I would not have gone by myself as Im very disappointed by all of the italian restaurant in...Paris and I blessed my friend who brought me there. I will go there again and again, you cannot be disappointed.
This place is an amazing little piece of Italy in Paris. While the cheese and roquette pizza was pretty decent and the spinach+ricotta panzerotto was very, very good (although basically just a filled doughnut), the smoked turkey sandwich was truly phenomenal better than any...sandwiches I've ever had in Italy, in fact. I should mention that all the items I tried were fairly oily (which makes them authentic and delicious, and is obvious from first glance if you're at all familiar with Italian food, but isn't something everyone prefers). So be forewarned that you might want to select something else if you're trying to avoid oily food...although in the case of the sandwich I personally think it's completely worth it. There is a large selection of meal items, desserts, and beverages and while they aren't cheap, I found that most were pretty competitively priced considering that the restaurant is located in central ish Paris. Although I took my food to go, it had an inviting atmosphere and seemed like it would be a great place to sit down and take a break. It was also open late on May 1, Labour Day, when many other takeout places were closed, which was a real bonus.
A small place in an excellent location. Friendly and efficient staff, some speak Italian. Quck service for pizza and sandwiches. We took the pazza menu less than 9 euros, a good portion of pizza, a drink and a dessert. Many choices, we can say...salami pizza, truffles pizza and tiramisu were excellent. Espresso coffe at 2 euros was made like in Italy. small but comfortable inside tables. Noise level acceptable.
I was taking a late night stroll down Montorgueil near the Châtelet subway exit, and happened by Made In Italy for some food window shopping.
I'm not feeling very generous and this place wavers in my mind 2-3 stars.
