Café des Marronniers - Feedback

Was Laurent Amsellem at Café des Marronniers a mag?
Very pleasant setting in the greenery, very warm welcome, a little waiting when it is beautiful, dishes at the burrata quite bad at all, bravo to the cooks, I liked it. View all feedback.
What Eva Edwards dislikes about Café des Marronniers:
As I was on my own, they put me next to a couple. Although the tables weren't joined, I was about 4 inches away from them I didn't mind, but she never asked them if they did! Food came out quickly. It was just a burger and fries it was like a posh fast food place. The burger was OK. Nothing special, it as a bit pricey €18 for what it was. I had to out my nag on the floor and it's now covered in dust from the park. View all feedback.

This cafe occupies a choice location in the Tuileries Garden yet does not appear interested in using it properly.I sat at a quiet table in the shade towards the back of the place but the waitress refused to serve me there contending it was a closed area. This meant that around a third of the tables were effectively closed. The manager informed me that he understood that the table I was sitting at was attractive but,if he made an exception for me ,everyone would love to sit there and they had spent the whole day refusing to serve people there. So it appears that they had deliberately closed off a large and attractive section of the place. They then explained that the waitress serving that section was 60 years old and about to retire in two months, she was the one that could not go an extra ten yards to my table and she was doing as she pleased. Also they were short handed in personnel.Altogether a sad experience in French inefficiency and arrogance. It should not happen in a prestigious setting like the Tuileries.
In addition to la cream and snack kiosks, the Tuilleries Gardens has 4 sit down restaurant/cafes, all seemingly similar in format, menu and price. We happened to choose Café des Marronniers, but we might as well have been at any of the other 3, each with different names, but occupying 4 corners of an imaginary square. The food, service and menus are oriented toward the tourists who crowd the beautiful park on warm days. All serve light meals, including perfectly acceptable hot dishes, plus drinks, coffee and ice cream desserts. Service is completely pleasant and friendly. Not to be confused with a real restaurant, but neither are these American-style snack bars. For a lunch or afternoon tea in the sun, well worth trying.
After our visit to the museum nearby we were wandering around and decided to eat here. Friendly staff and great croque monsieur. It was a large portion though. I don't know how the French feel about splitting a plate, but we could have! Would highly recommend.
Good service, friendly staff with Normal food and reasonable price. Recommend for a break in the beautiful garden
I was wandering around the Jardin and the Place de la Concorde and came across this place in the Jardin at lunchtime. It was a pleasant day and the cafe was open and airy. Friendly service and pleasant environment. I had the standard baguette rustica with a Cola Cola. You just have to love the food here - great bread, tasty ham and cheese and an under layer of butter. I added a small amount of local mustard. A very pleasant lunch. And coffee afterwards of course

Warm welcome, very pleasant setting, surrounded by vegetation, the kitchen is simple but very tasteful, it is super good
Well located, good kitchen and pleasant staff. We took advantage of the last beautiful days having lunch on the terrace overlooking a part of the Jardin des Tuileries.
A cute cafe in the gardens. The onion soup was delicious and the Croque monsieur was one of the best we had in Paris (also very generous size). Prices are very reasonable and the service attentive.
The cocktails are amazing, the service amazing and the people are just full of kindness
We ate very well, the starters make up an entire meal because they were plentiful and of excellent quality and flavour. the place is adorable, it overlooks a lovely garden, the tables are a little close together but it's still pleasant. we waited a bit before ordering because there were a lot of people, but in such a beautiful place the wait doesn't bother us. to try especially after visiting the orangery museum which leaves a wonderful atmosphere.

This is a lovely outdoor restaurant in the middle of the Tuileries Gardens. We had great food and service.
Nice surrounding in the park and pleasant atmosphere inside. Very fast and communicative waiters, well done. We had ordered burger and some their specialty with cheeses. Although the burger was typical for Paris, good enough, the meal with cheeses was really great.
We had a chicken burger, Provençal quiche and seasonal Bulghur bowl. All were quite good. Beer was also good. Very pleasant to sit outside in the jardin des Tuileries.
Brilliant service from Stephan, lovely food! I loves it here. Although waiters couldn't speak english they trued their very best to accommodate us!
