We were the only tourists in the place and despite our rudimentary French our hostess still made us feel welcome. The food was classic French with a bit of a twist (like a soy-based sauce for the duck) and was delicious overall. Every dish we had was good, but the duck main and chocolate speculoos tiramisu were particularly wonderful. The atmosphere is casual and cozy and the prices were reasonable. Our dog was welco... What GolfDuck doesn't like about Le Petit Champenois:
Managed to get a table for 4 the place was V busy and full very popular. Good food and cosy atmosphere. Only downside was poor cup of coffee (weak and lukewarm). View all feedback.
We really enjoyed our dinner here. I'm not a fan of formal, lots-of-fuss dining, and this place was perfect. The food was tasty and the service was efficient. It was one of the best meals we had on this trip to Paris.
Tasty dishes, good wine. You get the feel of a real French ciusine (I believe I have the right to judge after my previous 3-year stay in Paris). The restaurant is not expensive. The service is good, simple but attentive and polite. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

The small country is no longer held by a country. So don't go there to discover regional dishes or even different champagnes, there's only one on the map. on the other hand it is a quiet place for a lunch with friends or a couple. the two-course formula is at 17€. It is a little more expensive than in the 10th, 11th etc or we find formulas at 14€. but, the kitchen is a skull above what is found at lower prices. And we're in the 15th. A nice melon-jambon entrance, nice tasteful chicken brochettes, a pichet of 50cl of veranda to 15€. an addition of 54€ for 2, with the coffee. a nice address in a nice neighborhood.
My friend and I found this charming restaurant just off of the main road we were walking. The hostess was extremely welcoming and friendly. She spoke very little English and I spoke very little French but we were able to communicate successfully the whole evening! My starter was the wonderful hot goat cheese salad. Then I had a delicious main of cod fish on spinach and my friend had an incredible duck with potatoes. The wine selection was great and we loved the bottle that we chose. Our favourite part of the evening was with their sweet dog who kept us company while we ate. I can't wait to return and would definitely recommend this place.
