Was Alexa Wilson at JIA YAN a mag?
Had quite several meals at this place. The food is excellent and it felt like home! Wouldn't say that this is a Chinese restaurant but rather, an Asian restaurant. It's a hidden gem. Situated in one of the inner streets in Paris, we found this place while we were on our way home from the Eiffel Tower. English menu is available, so that's good. The owners are the ones taking & serving your order. Prices are very good.... View all feedback.

Very close to our hotel and the Metro line.Sweet and Sour Pork, the meat was good quality and it came with pineapple, perfect.Crispy Chilli Beef, not like back in the UK where is is battered and deep fried but the quality of the meet was very good and it was served mixed up with a few noodles. It was very tasty and possibly a healthy dish :)We had another chicken dish that was also very delicious and rich in flavor, Bao Chicken i think!for 50 quid we got 3 dishes, 2 rice and a 1l bottle of water. Not bad :)Very friendly staff.Would go again.
Found this restaurant through a search engine. Wanted a meal which felt like being back in London but in a different city. Small and very hidden restaurant! Boyfriend and I almost had a big argument searching for this restaurant on foot however we were not disappointed. We ordered a variety of starters, Peking ribs, duck Breast in a barbecue sauce with special fried rice and sweet and sour chicken. I couldn't believe the restaurant was not busy because the food is exceptional. Take the time to find it, you will not be disappointed!
We were taken there by our family as it was recommended on Trip Advisor & within walking distance of our hotel. We agreed upon a set menu which consisted of a selection of 6 courses including sweets plus a small selection of snacks. The meals were a modified Chinese but very tasty and worth the visit. Drinks were not expensive about 1/3 the cost of those in our hotel. Highly recommended if you are in the area

Delicious and hearty kitchen. Charming and attentive service. Modern frame. A recommendation
Excellent! Everything about this restaurant is excellent. I don't know why it doesn't have a full 5 star rating. I am a very difficult reviewer and rarely give 5 stars. The menu is large and diverse, the food is excellent and the people are wonderful (speak English if you need). Service is fast. We were the only people who were not asian, which was very cool and seemed like a good sign. And that was it! I wasn't in Asia yet, but as well traveled New Yorkers living in Paris, this is the most authentic Chinese food I had in Paris or NYC in a long time. The food is high-quality, fresh ingredients, strong flavors and many really spicy options. Of course, like most Asian restaurants in Paris, they also don't have Chinese Asian dishes like Thai recipes. Can highly recommend the spicy cold noodles, Papaya Salat and Liseron d’eau sautés (water spinach in garlic). The beef we had was also good. They made us a sweet and sour cream, although the menu had only poulet or pork option. The people on both sides of us ordered full fish dishes that looked amazing how everything else we saw to get to the other tables. The first time I was in an Asian restaurant all over France and didn't feel like I was just eating the same flavors again and again. The meal begins with a beautiful trio of complementary appetizers and ends with a pretty, interesting and delicious complementary dessert. Eat at Jia Yan!
Delightful and warm kitchen. Charming and attentive service. Modern frame. Recommendation
