we had reserved for two with the fork and the place is really perfect for a quick lunch one working day of the month of August, when the usual marker is closed. The dressing bar was walled as needed and the sauce was pleasant. My colleague's marinella pizza was good, as was my grilled bath with Neapolitan pen. Special mention for the chocolate cart, simply delicious, and for the really friendly service. The price was... View all feedback.
What Magdalena Kertzmann doesn't like about Au Trotteur:
I mean, it's all in the title, it doesn't break three legs to a duck! Not crazy at all, the card is too copyy to have fresh products. ..if it's not frozen there's at least a taste of cans! When I look at the cleanliness of the water carafe, I cross my fingers not to be sick tomorrow because of the hygiene they seem to have. .bref has to take if not the choice and see a hunger of wolves View all feedback.
The welcoming warmth and the excellent service of the French delicacies was excellent. especially enjoyed the cream brûlée. portioning size is also great!
Non French speaker, but menu was easy to understand. Food was as good as the best and prices are unbeatable. Best restaurant I've found among the city during this week.
The owner is very friendly and helpful as is the rest of the staff. This is not a restaurant I'd seek out in Paris, but it is very acceptable if you are in the neighborhood (staying at the Ibis next door? . The pizza is very...good and the prices are friendly for the budget minded. French entrees are available- think family style restaurant in the U.S.
Been here a few times over the past couple of years whilst in Paris and it's difficult not to go back on each visit. Prices are very reasonable and the food is very nice. Pizzas especially good. Nice cosy atmosphere with staff more than willing...to speak English which is great for us ignorant Brits. If you're in the area and on a budget I'd definitely pop in.
