Hayashi Sushi

I ordered a lunch menu with salmon California roll and several pieces of salmon sushi, which also came with a starter soup and salad. The prices of the menus especially the lunch set menus were fantastic. The quality of the fish and rice wasn’t particularly good and the server always seemed very rushed even though I was the only one in the restaurant, but the price was so good and my sushi craving was so strong that they made up for those negative parts.

Location is good which is front of gar de lyon. Place is small and sushcis were modarete. Not advice.

Dishes are good. Prices are okay. Staff is nice but is quite slow to bring the order. The place is quite small and can rapidly be crowded for lunch and dinner times.

I went for takeaway, ordered eel on a bed of rice and a beer. It took only a few minutes to prepare the food and i took it back to my hotel room, next door. The disappointment was total: cold thin slices of very fatty eel on a bed of mushi, overcooked rice. Now, i know eel is a fatty fish, i have enjoyed it many times before. But this fish was .........well, tired.........and the rice was everything except sushi rice. When i brought it back, they categorically refused to consider my complaint or serve me something else instead. Insisted that is is what eel on sushi rice was supposed to taste! well, it tasted and looked like chinese takeaway food, only much more expensive. I just lost 19 euros.

We looked on this site and had a hard time choosing a sushi restaurant but decided to eat here. It was about a block away from our hotel so that was nice. The food was great! And the price was good. The service was good. The restaurant itself is small cozy(only 18 seats) but lots of people ordering take out. The food was great! Overall good experience.
