This place had great Korean food I'm from La and it doesn't get any better I loved the French twist The address is 75015 Paris.

What makes a good restaurant?Obviously the food plays a rather important role, and at Yeban, I could not fault it. Coming from Sydney, Australia, where Korean BBQ is basically a staple, it was all the flavours I expected to see. The marinated beef (both bulgogi and rib meat) was sweet and succulent. The pork belly was fresh but not as thinly sliced as what I'm used to - a nice change. The pork echine was also nicely cut and marinated, though an unusual cut as far as Sydney Korean is concerned. The sides were also excellent. Sweet lotus root, the standard kim chi, salads and pickled vegetables were crunchy and fresh. The two sauces - a cinnamon-tinged soy and sesame with white pepper and salt - were also to be expected. So, the food was excellent. Five stars. What saddened me was the service. Perhaps it's my Aussie upbringing, where we're all relaxed smiles and easy-going laughter, but I did not find that here. I felt like a burden, despite my smiles and thanks, and received not a single up-tilted lip of my own. We were somewhat rushed out, despite empty tables, but despite the general lack of hospitality, I'll probably be back.
