What Brice Huels doesn't like about Waikiki Cafe:
starving urged us and eating left us back. this is a hole in the wall with limited seat and full of local eating classic French cuisine. they can observe the cook as they create their meal from their seat. Definitely the best deal in the Pantheon district! Opened 3 weeks ago, a great French bistro with typical (well sourced French food, very friendly and efficient waiters (so rare in Paris! , and reasonable prices.
This place was fantastic! Just passed it on the way from the pantheon to the curie museum, in need of a lunch, with my wife and son. My son was in the mood for pasta, and they had one on the specials menu, with ham and cheese and shredded carrots. It was just outstanding, fantastic. The place was obviously a hit with the locals, I think we were the only nonlocals there and definitely the only non-French speakers there. Which was great, we felt like we were experiencing Paris rather than just touristing it, and after a week in France (too short), that impromptu pasta lunch at Waikiki I shared with my son was the most tasty food experience I had. We were joking about the name, and were a little nervous about it, but were hungry enough to take a chance. So glad we did!
Had a great time, lovely place I can’t wait to come back very soon.
