What Sesto Ferraro doesn't like about The Auld Alliance Pub:
very rude staff that swears before their clients! we came there to watch france Scottland, all were sober, but the bar tender he went off the way when we spoke to him in French while he spoke to us. in English. Simply unbelievable! don't waste their time to such a waste, there is much better and cheaper pub 5min away from this dive ; View all feedback.
My husband chased a guinness. It's not so good in the USA. Bathrooms are clean. Cool air inside. I was busy in Happy Hour. The bartender was very...
Great staff and location. I'm in Paris the next time. Cold beers, fresh food and an atmospheric atmosphere make them a winner.
I stumbled by this place and was immediately pulled in by its wooden exterior with its Guinness sign abve. As an American who had been in Paris for a couple of days, I was very glad to came upon this place in the heart of the city. It's an old school Scottish pub with a small wooden bar, wood tables and chairs. Good Scottish ales on tap and a lovely, lovely happy hour. You tip the barkeep and s/he drops it in a bucket and rings a bell. I was also quite pleased to meet other English speaking ex-pats in this pub: a lovely South African couple and an American ex-pat now a resident of Paris. It was nice to drink familiar beer and speak English for a spell, all the while watching Wimbledon on the telly. Finding a pub like this, even in the midst of a foreign adventure, was like seeing an old friend. Great beer, good pub/Scottish food and great decor.
After watching France vs Scotland we went to this pub to have a couple of drinks and something to eat. The pub was half full and the atmosfere was very good.
Visited here during a rugby weekend and had a fantastic time. Friendly, helpful staff, good beer, great food and a lively atmosphere. Plenty tv's for watching any sport, though rugby was the main focus.
