Thai X Press Restaurant - Paris

We've not had thai in Paris before, granted but we did not understand why this place has very positive reviews. We ordered two easy standby's for takeout that any thai place should presumably do well papaya salad and pad thai. The papaya salad was fine, if a little bare bones. Quite spicy, and no frills just grated papaya with a little dressing that is pre packaged in the fridge. The pad thai was 1 star worthy though bland, barely anything but noodles, and the noodles were not pad thai noodles (but thick). I'd chalk it up to some cultural difference except that the pad thai photo on their menu looks just right.

Very good Thailand cuisine or should I say Thailand fast food. Quite authentic just like the local food I tasted in Thailand. Above all, two Asian girls are the cooks who are just like two girls in 2 broke girls .

Having seen good reviews, and as Thai food lovers, we decided we couldn't give this a miss whilst inParis and we weren't disappointed! The service was quick, the food tasty and fresh and the value was great. For two of us We ordered 2 sides, 3 mains and several drinks, the total of which cost less than a meal for one in most places in Paris. Great! Was also impressed that the drinks were v reasonably priced. Unlike lots of places where they make up for good value food with extortionate drinks prices. Definitely a good place to try.

Travaillant dans le secteur et aimant manger épicé et avec du goût, j'ai été surpris par les saveurs des plats proposés, de plus pour le prix 7,50, ce n'est pas excessif pour le coin, Apres il y en a qui diront que ce n'est pas de la cuisine thaï gastro, dans ce cas il faut aller dans un restaurant chevronné et payer le prix fort. Le seul inconvénient : peu de place et étroit, mais on l'oublie avec les multiples saveurs et pour le prix surtout.

Con una buona esperienza sulla cucina Tailandese con un mio amico abbiamo deciso di fermarci a cenare in questo take away. La ragazza che serviva era simpatica e sincera; ci ha detto che poteva servire se mangiavamo in 30 minuti, abbiamo accettato. durante la preparazione del cibo ci ha chiesto se mangiavamo con le spezie, abbiamo detto di sì. Ammetto che sono uno a cui piace un pò piccante, ma il cibo era più che piccante, alla fine abbiamo mangiato, ma senza grandi apprezzamenti. Potrebbe essere un ristorante take away veloce senza certe aspettative.
