Exceptional dining experience and extremely reasonably priced by comparison with similar restaurants. My wife and I enjoyed our 15th wedding anniversary dinner at Sonatines and it will be one of the most memorable meals we have had. Easily compares with well rated /Michelin Star restaurants we have experienced. It’s a small intimate setting and is run by a chef with incredible creativity and passion. It was a slow ni... What Palma Crona doesn't like about Sonatines:
I've been there with a friend for a special ocasion. It was Friday evening, and we were alone. After one hour a family came as well. You have to choose between 3 menus - difference is in the number of courses they serve. We had medium one (5 dishes). I cannot say that food was amazing. Neither the serving was great. It's for sure better than many, but still, for the price of EUR150/person you expect something very co... View all feedback.
Very good restaurant, comprehension of staff sometimes a little difficult but of extreme kindness and care with customers. good cooking, we enjoyed everything from beginning to end. the white card surprises a bit at the beginning (the dishes are not detailed in the map. surprise of the chef! . the value/price ratio can be a little high but good discovery in the whole.
A perfect lunch for a birthday, where our table was the only one in the restaurant! What a surprise, because we were lucky this Saturday that the chef decided not to take any other reservations. So we had a large table in the middle of the room. The decor is timeless old France far from current fashions, in a quiet area but the most important thing is the welcome, the service and the taste and visual qualities for each of the dishes. The Japanese chef has put his creativity and culture at the service of French cuisine and the result is perfect. The combinations are sometimes surprising but the flavor is well highlighted by the accuracy of the cooking, seasoning and dressing. The choice of very colorful dressing hides the main part of the dish allowing for a surprise discovery. From appetizers to sweets, the chef 's mastery is impressive. Small extract: scallops and puff pastry sea bass fillet on a bed of eggplant pan-fried duck foie gras and citrus fruits floating island with strawberries.
An incredible discovery. 3-course meal, with 2 courses of appetizers, a pink pineapple granita before dessert, and 2 courses of sweets. Refined dishes, combinations worthy of a gastro, service of rare attentiveness. An address of choice.
A Japanese chef who makes French gourmet cuisine. Not ordinary but great. The dressing, the pairings and the setting are of Japanese refinement. Lots of attention to detail. Truly a must-visit address. We will come back.
A real wonder. all the more surprising amusement-funs than others, really tasty entries and dishes, a service to the height of the kitchen. Everything was successful. The cooking of meat and fish was just perfect. A beautiful discovery!
