It's as though you're sitting in the middle of the production area of a seafood shop ~ which it really is with it's tiled floors and simple tables. Your there for the Food.. the seafood to be more accurate and it's super fresh, interesting in the sort of seafood on offer & delivered by professionals with a smile. They also have a wine list that is short and good. What else could you want? Oh yes, like a number of the... View all feedback.
What Léon Roger doesn't like about Sea Bar - Paris Peche:
I liked the sea food in this place, but the service was terrible. The place between the tables was so narrow that I could hardly go to the toilet. We have ordered a table for 20.00 and we were there at 19.50, but our table was given to somebody else. We had to wait for about an hour. Terrible waitress. She completely forgot about us after we ordered the food. After an hour we had to remind about our order View all feedback.
This restaurant arrived on Friday night and wanted to take an apéro before dinner. the personal was very unfriendly and has thrown on us a table far away and dirty and said all the other tables are reserved. we knew he was lying because he didn't want to receive us. all the tables were empty, but he consisted only of a small dirty table on the wide corner. we were excited, left and went to another restaurant. after dinner in another restaurant at 9:30 o'clock we went past, only one table was taken, yet 7 or 8 tables empty. it confirms that it is the waiter who did not want to work, or because I do not look rich enough to receive us in the restaurant. filz really humiliated. will never go back to this restaurant because of the bad waiter. hopefully, the owner will see and correct this problem.
As part of a poissonerie it is not surprising that the seafood was very fresh and tasty. the shellfish was excellent, and both the scallops and seabass extremely succulent. it is a very cozy local restaurant with a friendly relaxed atmsophere. we will definitely be back on our next. travel to paris.
This is an excellent seafood restaurant. We went there for an oyster lunch! Six very good oysters and a glass of wine for just 10€! You can sit inside or out on the sidewalk. There are also other small dishes available or a full meal if you want. Then before or after, visit the vegetable market down the street. Market not open Mondays though. They also have seafood platters for takeaway.
When we arrived I was really excited. The place looked great - a casual seafood experience which is hard to find in Paris. The meal was extremely disappointing. My sole was small, undercooked and had too much butter sauce. The tuna was over cooked and over salted. The mussels were tiny and not very tasty. The service was almost unfriendly. We sat next to the lobster tank which created a fun experience for the kids - but It emanated heat and a bad smell. On the upside the ambiance was good and the Chablis crisp and refreshing. I would not return.
We went to this place in 2014 and again today The seafood was only top quality and freshness and very good service Probably the best value Seafood in Paris
