I ate a meal here with my daughter. It is a short walk away from the Sacre Couer cathedral. We started with samosas which were so good I ordered another round. My chicken vindaloo was cooked perfectly with a nice medium spiced curry. They had an interesting mint sauce on the side. My daughter had lamb tikka masala and she liked hers as well. Service was solid and friendly enough in English. Recommended if you love cu... View all feedback.
What willowbrooksam doesn't like about Samsara:
i was looking for Indian food in Paris and found almost all restaurants exorbitantly priced. Prices here are reasonable. Water is served in a pitcher filled with mint leaves. It was nice. Ordered Tandoori chicken boneless for starters. Was not fully cooked. Roti with palak paneer was good. Chicken biriyani was more like vegetable biriyani that had some boiled chicken put in it. Wanted to try the kulfi but was not sur... View all feedback.
If I could give this place minus rating I would gladly...On the recommendation of France Travel Blog 's listing of best Indian restaurants in Paris, I went to this place...Let 's not get into the ambiance or even the attitude of the staff and deal just with the so called food. Inedible. I ordered $38 Euros worth of tandoori chicken, butter chicken and chickenbiryani...The tandoori chicken was spiced so midly, it might as well have been KFC, but was so dry it didn 't measure up to that. I took one bite of each of the other dishes...got up, paid for it and left it...I only wish I 'd had the guts to tell them how bad their food was, but what good would that have done? Absolutely disgusting...I am soooo angry I 'm going to hunt down every place they are reviewed and shout it to the rooftops...Whoever reviewed this place as one of the best has clearly never had good Indian food...Michael
This is one of my local restaurants. I love their cheese nans and always have one or two with samosas and raita. The food is fine and is great value for money. The wine prices are reasonable too. The service is very good, they are well-staffed, everyone is from Bangladesh and they work hard. They serve you quickly and as soon as someone leaves they clean the table immediately. The tables inside are quite close together and the large Indian style chairs take up some space but you can also sit outside. They are open 365 days a year for lunch and for dinner and they also do takeaway and delivery and are very efficient with both.
Fantastic food and great service! The cheese naan, butter chicken and palak paneer are a must! The restaurant was extremely busy which is always a great reflection of the food! If you want to try authentic Pakistani food then Samsara is the place to go!
Prix raisonnables, cuisine très bonne, serveurs aux petits soins, beaucoup de choix...je recommande!
