What Tushar Karnik doesn't like about Pizza Marinara:
Good pizza, NOT Tourist Friendly Had some good pizza but as we were finishing up our waiter dropped off a bottle of water which we did not ask for and he did not ask us if we wanted. We were charged an extra €7 for this bottle of water. I didn 't notice it until after I already paid the bill which is what I think they were hoping for. We take the bottle after realizing this scummy practice and come to find out not on... View all feedback.

We were only in Paris for a few nights and really wanted to make sure we had great food while there. We didn’t care how fancy the place was, we just wanted delicious meals. On our first night we found ourselves wandering through the streets of the Saint-Germain district exhausted from no sleep from the flight over. A few places were packed so we settled into this small place that was busy but there were a few seats at the bar. The menu was only in French so we did our best to figure our what we wanted. I ordered the Penne Arrabbiata and my wife ordered a vegetarian pizza with cherry tomatoes, ricotta, and other cheeses. We also ordered a large carafe of the house red wine. We didn’t have huge expectations but we needed to eat and were just happy to be sitting down after walking all day. The wine which was VERY affordable was delicious! The pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce was delicious with the perfect amount of heat for an Arrabbiata. The pizza was amazing and cooked in a small oven in the dining area of the restaurant. We finished with the the most awesome thing that we ended up finding at all the restaurants, the Cafe Gourmand! This is a small espresso (decaf upon request and you can get Mik if you’d like) with 3-4 tiny dessert samples, almost like tapas desserts. It was delicious and a perfect way to end our dinner! Our expectations were shattered and our first dinner in Paris may have been Italian food, but it was truly perfect! The service was good, not great but not enough to detract from our experience. Yummmm!!!
We had a reservation for our family of 6. We have older kids ages 15-23 that were vacationing with us. Restaurant was clean and very nice, wait staff was funny, kind helped us order in english, they were making jokes and had us laughing. We very much enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere. The kids ordered pizza, I ordered pasta. The food was delicious. It was a wonderful end to a long day of touring Paris. I definitely recommend!
We visited with our two children and had a wonderful experience. The food was fantastic (I had linguini with mussels and my family had pizza), the location convenient and the staff incredibly kind. My kids loved it!
Excellent wood fired pizza, but try the pasta and house specials. It’s all handmade, authentic and delicious. I had the spinach ravioli one night. Rich and melted in your mouth. For lunch our last day I had a special meatball plate that had been cooked for 5 hours. Perfect. Busy and crowded at night. Quiet at lunch.
