What Karl Graham doesn't like about Pizza Capri:
3 different pizzas ordered to go to 2 different evenings. the employees were more fluent in English than average, the pizza selection was large and the pizzas themselves were delicious. the basic was not too thick and was of very high quality that was topping. not too thick as they expect from the big trips, but extremely tasty and had a homemade feeling for them. there was also a nice selection of pastas and co, but could not try it because the place in the middle of the week seems to be closed when the breakfast / midday / evening period is over, but this is typical of the opposite.
This family run Italian restaurant at La Villette (just 100 feet to Laumiere metro) was our favorite place to have a delicious late dinner (open 7:00pm-12:00am) after a long day in Paris. We eat there our last 4 nights at the city of lights, they...have a 13.90€ Menu for Antipasto and Primo piatto. We love the mozzarella tomato and the Lasagna bolognese. The service is fast and like you are family. Pros: only 2-3 other patrons eating, lots of tables, off the beaten path, opens late, friendly staff, lots of food for price, quality ingredients, speaks English and some Spanish, very good French bread basket, great food. Cons: only one brand of beer, opens only for dinner, no ice with drinks (ice=tourist, sorry i really like my coke with ice), at night the neighborhood fills with sketchy people (both noting to be affright, just use common sense). We really like this place and will come back in our next trip to Paris.
My friend and I visited here after the landing late and desperate to eat. the place from outside didn't seem too promising, but honestly, that's the best pizza I've ever eaten. the decoration was a little outdated, but it... personally didn't disturb me because it was so good to eat. nice job
Best place in paris for homemade pizza. a quiet, warm place, really welcoming. That's our second time here, and we'll be back.
We loved this place! Everything from the food, to the service, to the decor exceeded our expectations! We had a pizza each (they were a bit bigger than a dinner plate). They came out within about 10mins and were cooked in the wood fired oven-...only a few mins away. We also got a free starter which is always nice. Our whole bill (inc. glass of white wine) was 23.80€ Our waiter (a young lady) was lovely and was and a pleasure to deal with. Cant rate this high enough!
Bonne pizza, bon rapport qualité prix, acceuil chaleureux par une équipe adorable, simple. Notre pizza de quartier de référence ! Allez y !
