This is a little hole-in-the-wall restaurant; only a few tables. But it has a loyal following. When we went there, we saw one of the florists from around the corner eating with his family. The food is fresh and hot (temperature and spice), and the wait staff are very attentive and friendly. We actually ate here twice because it was such a great experience. View all feedback.
What Catherine Ferrand doesn't like about Nguyen Tien:
We love Pho. Taste wise, this pho was fairly plain, but we were starving so it temporarily did the job. They do not separately serve bean sprouts, mint leaves, or the staple hoisin sauce. The fresh (non fried) spring rolls were good. Though they don't serve you peanut sauce, the peanut is within the roll itself. The upside is they serve fresh spring rolls, which you can't get at Pho 14 or Bida View all feedback.
As I have a few food allergies we found ordering suitable French food difficult especially with a lack of French. So I started to look at Vietnamese restaurants close to our accommodation. I know I can always eat Phö and many other dishes. Nguyen Tien is a small cosy restaurant with a very authentic Vietnamese feel. Brought back memories of my travels in Vietnam. The lady who served us had basic English but was very willing to try and understand our requests. The sell Tsingtao beer (Chinese) and a few wines. I had the homemade ice tea. Very sweet but good! The food was delicious and full of flavour. The deep fried homemade spring rolls and phö were our favourites. We ate their twice as it was convenient and satisfying. On our first visit we ordered 1 phö, 1 satay chicken dish, small boiled rice, 2 serves of spring rolls, Ice tea and a beer. We spent 36€. Cheap!!

La soupe n'était pas excellente. Personnel peu aimable. L'hygiène laisse à désirer. Il y avait un chien à côté de ma table. À éviter.
