Very beautiful decoration, good musical tastes, terrace, nice waiter. the wines are cheap and the alain vintage juice at 5€ in short it is a faultless! I recommend!
An address in the neighborhood, with its many concerts, and its alcohols of good quality at modest prices. Recommended especially for party between friends :-)

I love Paris, and my experience at Maxam simply reinforces mon amour. Sauntering into Maxam at 1:00 in the morning, I was pleased to find an open bar stool. Everyone in the joint was at least 4 decades younger than me. That never bothers me unless I am treated like an old creep or a Peeping Tom. I refuse to let my increasing years temper my lack of maturity. At Maxam I was treated like a respected Elder. (No sarcasm intended SLC) The bartender was friendly, respectful, and intentionally made me comfortable. My cocktail was served in cut glass crystal and was very reasonable. The music was cool and although the patrons were aloof, I enjoyed watching the Saturday night machinations. It was a wonderful spot for a nightcap.
