Located across the street from Gare du Nord and near any number of hotels (we were in the Ibis Styles a few buildings away) it is in a convenient location for a bite before starting your day in the city. We opted for the breakfast with Omelette, bread, Croissant, fruit juice and fruit cup. With ham and cheese in the omelette the cost was 11.50 Euros. Service was excellent and out waiter same both mornings treated the boys very well. While our hotel offered a meagre breakfast we opted for something more substantial to power us through the day.The only issue we had was the issue we had with all restaurants we ate at -- people smoke at the sidewalk tables which are right next to the inside tables. The only way to almost escape the smoke is to sit deep inside the building and miss out on the streetscape and then you still get the smoke depending on the wind/
We had a little time to kill before taking a Eurostar home so we dropped into the Maison Blanche. This parade of restaurants offers a remarkably similar fixed price menu so we chose this one because of the space available on the terrace. I had the terrine, which came with a nice salad, then the steak and chips. The steak was perfectly fine and the chips were totally acceptable too. And the dessert my wife had was fine. Nothing totally exceptional but all fine for the price.Talking about price, for a 2 course menu, it was 13 euro each with the drinks adding to the bill, of course. And the dessert my wife had.Service was fine but there were only a few people sitting outside, so that was to be expected.
L'accueil était chaleureux et le service assez rapide pour prendre un train rapidement. Au programme, un burger au bleu qui même si ce n'etait pas original était très correct.
This was our go to restaurant whilst in Paris. Ideally located opposite Gare Du Nord station. We always had fast and efficient service by Audrey conducted with a smile and all our food was excellent there, especially the Burgundy snails. I couldn't fault any aspect of the restaurant and would highly recommend it. The cocktails are very nice here with no scrimping on the alcohol.
This was right next to our hotel and we wouldn't have a bad word said against it. Clean restaurant with friendly helpful staff. We had breakfast here and a three course dinner with cocktails. We were a party of three women (60, 37,34) and they were lovely with us. We were apprehensive about dining out because we had heard bad things about staff in restaurants but it couldn't be further from the truth with these guys. One evening my sister and I went back for cocktails at 11pm and they even brought my sister more of the free candy that came with the cocktails. They took the time to be pleasant and interested and even reminded us of the pickpockets and thieves that operate in such a busy city. Would definitely make it a first port of call on a return visit and recommend to anyone else. Menus are in many languages and they will explain anything you don't understand. Prices are very reasonable from what I could observe during my stay
