Really nice restaurant, the food was amazing

It is quite difficult to find a decent place to eat in the late hour in paris. in the rule are medium-eastern cuisine caffes always vegan friendly, so we have decided “just another vegan friendly place to fill the hole”. but the lyoom cantine could surpass our expectations! first, the place itself is very cozy and the staff is very helpful. second they make all sandwiches and wraps with homemade brot (which makes them automatically much cooler and better than many other similar caffes.) so there are two types of brot: melaoui and batbout. the first is not their typical tortilla style, it is a flaky flatbread that reminds me of an Indian paratha. batbout looked like pita, but we haven't tried yet. the original position from the menu (falafel in flatbread) demands the cheese, but they kindly replaced it by hummus (which made the falafel packaging better imho.) for the side we have chosen good old frits, but again, it is definitiv not the creepy product from frozen section, but a very good homemade crispy chips with homemade. for drinks I would definitely recommend their homemade limonade - it is really lemony and zesty! updated by the previous review on 2022-07-17
