My entry was foie gras at 17€, very basic with mie bread in classic slice. the lamb's dish- 22€ was poor. The meat was raw and truffled with big nerves, immangeable and tasteless, I had difficulty decorating this hazelnut. If I hadn't been so hungry I wouldn't have touched her. The purée was good. Despite the 30% discount, the price remains excessively high for a low-end kitchen of this type. To avoid.
I have come several times for birthdays and for different events ranging from simple diner between glugues to date and I have never been run by the proposed dishes, the servers are very friendly and I have never been run by the quality of the dishes that have been served me. I'm a fan of chocolate marrow served in a bowl. What keeps me from putting 5 stars is that I was once tempted to go through the dish to reserve and found that the quantities served were lower than I used to take. I don't think it's tolerated by the dish.
After having eaten this lunch with a friend I remain perplexed, the restaurant offers a very correct dish entry or dessert dish to choose between three or four proposals leaving the choice between fish or meat. the portions without being huge stay reasonable and well cooked all would be fine so if we hadn't made the mistake of wanting to drink a drink to celebrate our reunion. although not having seen the wine map we command, without too much risk we think, a pichet of rose. mistake! While the wine is pretty good but or is the logic of paying a formula at 15 euros to see yourself invoice a pichet at 21 euros ?eh yes we had not looked and the server has kept us talking about this prohibitive price...We're going from a small quarter restaurant to the 3 star restaurant at a time! 21 euros? No but allo?? It's a pichet not a bottle... By checking on the site we find that the least glass of wine is 7 euros, the least bottle at 30 or 35 euros...Or is the logic of proposing a reasonable formula if we assume on the drinks? Too bad the proposal is not balanced.
If it is difficult to find good French cuisine to be bet without eventually paying a guinded setting invaded by tourists, the small wing dishes do not have this problem! The food is excellent (special liver lion with foie gras and crispy chicken caesar salad), the warm atmosphere and the adorable service (thank you benjamin)! ! we get out of this cozy place repu and dorlotted : in short a must-see address close to the French comedy!
It is a casual restaurant in the Louvre/Rivoli/The halls frequented by foreigners of all nationalities, tourists and students, as well as by employees of the French ministries and companies nearby, in short a nice mix of people. food is really well prepared, and there is a choice for everyone. I particularly like lamb medallions and potato purée, which are really good. I like to start with white asparagus when they are available. It's great to enjoy this with fresh bread, sitting on the sidewalk with a fresh beer. Do not miss the chocolate mousse if it is on the menu when you are there. It's the best you'll ever have in your life.
