Le Vieux Bistrot - Paris

Don't miss out, this place is awesome! We had an amazing date night enjoying incredibly delicious French specialties at Le Vieux Bistro on Rue Mouffetard. We had three cheese fondue for 1 to share as our appetizer, and it was amazing. It was very large and we were already almost too full for our mains after eating our appetizer but they spaced things out nicely. The delicious cheese fondue came with lots of small pieces of baguette for dipping and was also accompanied by baby roasted potatoes, ham and a small green salad with a delicious dressing, tomato and beet. Sharing was fantastic. We both ordered beef bourguignon for our mains. It was incredibly flavourful and satisfying and wonderful with our Bordeaux. It isn't too big so it was nearly perfect and we took a little beef bourguignon home for leftovers at the airbnb. I only wish we had room for the wonderful looking creme brûlée! The atmosphere was lovely though it's a small place. And we had a great time walking rue Mouffetard before and after, as it is a fun and busy area for bars and restaurants.

We visited this restaurant on a Saturday night a few weeks ago and had a really enjoyable 3 course meal with great service from our waiter George. We ordered the 3 course set meal and all courses were delicious. The portion sizes were really good too so it offered excellent value. We accompanied the meal with a nice bottle of sauvignon which was nicely chilled.My partner had steak for her main and she asked for it well done and it was perfectly cooked which is often a challenge for some restaurants. I had the lamb and it was lovely and tender.The bread throughout the meal was complimentary and tasted fresh.Would highly recommend this place and would certainly return if in the area.

Une carte restreinte, mais une cuisine raffinée et authentique. Une salle petite, mais un service de qualité. Entrés par hasard, nous sommes repartis charmés. Allez y !

Facendo una passeggiata lungo Rue Mouffetard ci siamo imbattuti , io e il mio fidanzato, in questo locale dove , nel pomeriggio , abbiamo prenotato per la sera . È un ristorante a conduzione familiare , il cui personale è stato gentilissimo soprattutto il caposala . Parlava italiano per cui siamo riusciti a comunicare e chiedere informazioni riguardo i piatti . Abbiamo scelto un menù che comprendeva antipasto, piatto principale e dessert/formaggio. Come antipasto abbiamo ordinato Escargot (6) condite con aglio al punto giusto ed erano fenomenali e cozze anch'esse molto buone . Come piatto principale invece manzo con il suo sugo che credo fosse di verdure e agnello morbidissimo . Entrambi avevano come contorno funghi , patate e il manzo aveva pure le carote . Come dessert invece , da buona italiana , ho ordinato tiramisù e il mio fidanzato i formaggi (formaggio di capra , roquefort e rucola con salsa allo yogurt se non sbaglio) . Tutto ciò a 42€ (prezzo del menù: 21€ a testa) È stato tutto spettacolare . È il locale giusto per le coppie , molto intimo e romantico . Romanticismo Parigino mixato a questo locale hanno reso la nostra cena una magia , un sogno, un'esperienza unica all'insegna di sentimenti dolci e magnifici . Il cibo ha soddisfatto i nostri palati e lo consiglieremo sicuramente . L'unica piccola pecca che non avevamo considerato è stata l'acqua (8€ per due bottiglie da mezzo litro ) . Il locale è pulito e anche se stretto , potrete gustarvi la vostra intimità anche accanto ad altre persone. Ringraziamo ancora te, cameriere, che ci hai aiutato e sei stato molto gentile ed ospitale .
