Brasserie Le Reveil - Paris

This simple unpretentious restaurant is stuck in time, so rare for Paris these days. The Algerian couscous (Fri, Sat, Sun) comes highly recommended. I've eaten here twice, both times I ordered the lamb brochettes with merguez. The meat is tender. The serving of veggies very generous and so nice to eat fennel, zucchini and carrots cooked in a tomatoey gravy with chickpeas. I found the service very attentive and the owner not only remembered us but remembered what we had ordered 4 weeks ago and which table we had sat at! Now that's something!!!!

The restaurant is really nice. The food was good and abundant, well prepared and well presented. The staff is really nice and helpful. I totally recommend this restaurant.
