When we visit Paris annually for a month, we always have to eat the KUNG PAO CHICKEN from here. We always do take out 12.50 euros so we can enjoy in leisure in our apartment. The restaurant is now open only in the evenings from 6 pm so no more lunch time. The restaurant is in Art and Metier on metro line 11 so very close to Marais and only 2 stops on the metro from our rental apartment. Love the Kung pao chicken here... View all feedback.
What A S doesn't like about Le Lac de l'Ouest:
Terrible services. Many people waiting. The owner just selectively pick people. Let in groups coming in late and some of them don’t even have the whole party here. So multiple tables are empty while people are waiting outside. Guess hey have the right to choose who they want to serve. View all feedback.

Incrediable tasty, I recomend the soups..and everything in general, and a familiar treatment We'll return soon.
We always come back to this restaurant and wanted to share a close up of the peanut appetizer I described in Part I. What I noticed in particular was the bits of fresh ginger in the dish. It gets better with every visit! They have upgraded their decor recently but thankfully the food is good as ever!
This was a wonderful quaint little Chinese in the Latin quarter. Such lovely welcoming staff. The food was full of flavour and very enjoyable. Service was very good and the two waitresses were so attentive. Restaurant and the toilets were very clean. We would recommend and we will definitely visit again.
Fantastic! I know... visiting France and eating Asian food right? It is what it is. Now if your expecting the server to dote on you during your stay don t bother. It's a small place that seems to be family run by older gentlemen with gracious hearts and lots of pride but once your food comes unless you go ask for what you need you ll be left on your own to enjoy meal.
