We really enjoyed our dinner here, the restaurant is tucked away close to the Centre Pompidou. The service was very good and the food was all freshly cooked. It was fairly quiet inside and seemed to be full of locals. I would definitely go back. View all feedback.
What Marie Pivrier doesn't like about Le Hangar:
We love everything here! The kitchen of course, simple and refined but without chichi, the place, the reception, the atmosphere... A real good address between Halles and Marais View all feedback.
Absolutely delicious! The lentil soup is out of this world — I'll never be able to enjoy another lentil soup again. The foie gras, too, is just incredible. Highly recommended! (Traducido por Google) ¡Absolutamente delicioso! La sopa de lentejas está fuera de este mundo: nunca podré disfrutar de otra sopa de lentejas otra vez. El foie gras también es simplemente increíble. ¡Muy recomendable!
The room is a simple decor. Upon arrival we were welcomed quickly. Stroganoff beef is very tasteful and creamy. Mustard kidneys perfectly grasped. The Mont Blanc dessert is a real delight of brown cream with whipped cream meringue and a blackcurrant coulis. A real treat. I strongly recommend this restaurant of good French cuisine
We were looking for a nice quiet classic French dinner, and Le Hangar delivered. They seated us outside where it was a lovely evening. The proprietress was warm and welcoming. The tomatoes with fresh burrata salad was excellent. The creamy lentil soup was delicious. The beef tenderloin and potatoes were all so tasty. Highly recommend this lovely restaurant.
This restaurant is out of the way so if you don't know it's there, you will not see it. But nonetheless, people know about it, and it doesn't stay empty. I found out about it by reading google map reviews of restaurants with good ratings. This appears to be a family owned restaurant with great food and wonderful service. I visited this restaurant for lunch, and ordered a glass of red wine, cream of lentil soup with foie gras, beef stroganoff and chocolate souffle. The food totally exceeded my expectations. I read in the reviews that beef stroganoff was good, and it was, but the highlight of the meal for me was the soup. I don't think I have ever eaten a better lentil soup. This will definitely be a place to visit for me when I'm back in Paris. I absolutely highly recommend it.
Weekday lunch for one in jun24. Pros: friendly; amazing food, esp beef stogonoff, good prices. Cons: the neighbourhood isn’t great and the backstreet location has pigeons and tramps.
