It was... read more A great place for lunch on a budget. We were sightseeing in Paris, and looking for a place to have lunch that wasn't a franchise and wasn't fine dining. It was about 1pm and Ladess was packed—just one table for two left. It offers a range options including two choices for plat du jour and various sandwiches and salads and such. We ordered one plat du jour (the beef stew option) and a shepherd's salad. Both were huge and tasty. The plat du jour (the option this day was fish) comes with salad, and both dishes come with beautiful bread.It's not fine dining, but the food is good and the service was cheerful and helpful. There's only one Ladess in Paris, so stop in if you are nearby.
