What Leone Glover doesn't like about La Forge:
nothing to say is at the level of reception, service, quality of the dishes served. the restaurant offers classic South-West cuisine, the menu is quite simple but everything is well mastered. We spent a very good evening with the family and look forward to going back to discover other specialties. View all feedback.
We booked La Forge for a family dinner, with my wife and three teenage children. My kids are picky eaters, and we all found something that we liked on the menu, which was a major win. The service was excellent and the food was full of flavors and authentic French. We did not speak much French, and the waiter had a blackboard with the full menu in English to share with us which made ordering easy. We all attempted our best French in ordering, but the waiter made it easy by speaking English. As starters we had warm goat cheese salad and foie gras with fig chutney all delicious. For mains, I had the sirloin steak (as did my oldest), my wife had the seabass, and my two youngest kids had the duck legs with potatoes. And for desert, we had the Crème brulée and the Millefeuille and both were magnificent! Overall an amazing night out.
Fantastic place, great food amazing service! Would highly recommend! Little bit out of the busy touristy area but if you’d like to try some amazing food not only made for tourists go there. Food is freshly made and amazing quality.
An absolutely fantastic place with unique service, atmosphere and top-notch French food! Can definitely be recommended.
Exceptional food and service in a local neighborhood restairant. Spectacular cassolette and great desserts.
We are staying at a nearby hotel and the concierge recommended this place for lunch our first day in town. It was a beautiful sunny day, so we sat outside. The staff spoke English and we attempted French. The menu was enticing; we both had duck breast, wine, and shared crème brûlée! Delicious, local, friendly, and reasonably priced.
