What Kayden Swift doesn't like about La Croissanterie:
good for a cheap breakfast in growing bars, common to betting, excellent value for money, the coffee is not recommended to Italians. (before the holy bridge michel to the right there is a sink for 1,20 €) View all feedback.
La Croissanterie was very close to our Hotel Le Clement. Each morning, I would run down to pick up fresh Pain au Chocolat, mini ham and cheese baguette and cafe. The lady working each day was very helpful and kind helping explain my coffee order to the person making it. Basically, the coffees made in Paris are a lot smaller than we are typically used to in Canada, but they would just add some hot water to make it a bit bigger. (Cafe Americano . Honestly though, I liked the taste and strength of the smaller version lol, so by the end of the week, I ordered it pretty much their way. I wonder if I should have just been ordering Cafe Crema... rich coffee with a bit of milk? The pain au chocolat was delicious every day! I even tried one at an authentic, more classic bakery nearby and preferred La Croissanterie 's version! Prices were also very good Our shared breakfast most days with one coffee, pain au chocolat, a mini pain au chocolat and a mini ham and cheese baguette was around 7€. My only suggestion would be that they open before 8am. I often had to wait for them to open and would have liked to get going a bit earlier in the am. It is also a lovely spot to sit and enjoy coffee and breakfast (or lunch : Merci!
This is a great place for a quick breakfast, lunch, or coffee break if you aren’t in the mood or have the time for committing to a full sit down restaurant. Plenty of seating and a clean wc. You can’t go wrong with choosing the always popular ham and cheese on a baguette or a delicious pain au chocolate. Coffee is available to go.
This cafe was near my hotel. I found it very convenient for breakfast, as there was no fuss, the staff were all friendly and the food and drink were great. A coffee au lait, pain au chocolat and a fresh orange juice came to just over €5 £3.60), which I thought was great value.
We decided to get a fruit tart for dessert. It was very good. Nothing like sitting in the sun eating dessert and enjoying a coffee.
