What a pityThe place has a perfect location with a wonderful view on the Seine and Notre-dame. It is supposed to be a very agreable placae for having a drink except for ...We ordered a small bottle of Bordeaux Rosé. When the waiter brought it , it was not cold so we asked some ice. The waiter brought us ice cubes thinking we wanted to put them in our glass instead of bringing an ice-bucket with ice !!!To finish with,... View all feedback.
I found this little place by chance. Never ate here but a brilliant little spot for a drink. They have a few tables at the bar and don't mind if you only want drinks. If you are going to be paying 9euro a pint what better place to do it. It's the nicest spot ever with the best views in Paris in my opinion .
I stopped here with two young children after a lengthy visit to the Notre Dame. Our waiter was prompt and patient with both children and my English. He shared the free wifi password and brought a lovely meal. We over-ordered, but enjoyed all that we could manage to eat. I still think about the beautiful melted cheese on toast that oozed with perfection...simple & delicious. The view and the peace of being on the water will ensure our return should we get to go back to Paris.
It's a laid back floating eatery. You get a beautiful view of Notre Dame, the staff are friendly, (especially if you're friendly) and the food is really nice, lamb chops and entrecôte, cooked perfectly. A great place to spend a leisurely lunch.
My husband and I decided to eat here after passing by on a river boat cruise on the Seine. The boat looked charmingly romantic with it's window boxes of geraniums spilling over the balcony. We were not disappointed sat on our table for 2 at the front of the boat in the shadow of the beautiful Notre Dame Cathedral. The staff were very attentive and we chose the Melted Camembert for starters which was a very generous portion. I followed with the Duck which has to be one of the best duck dishes I have ever had and my husband was almost beat with his deliciously huge steak. No room for dessert but the bottle of White Sancerre finished it all of beautifully. The whole evening was superb and we even got to see a romantic proposal... Wonderful place, we will certainly return on our next trip to Paris!
Perfect and unique setting- on a boat on the Seine right behind/beside Notre Dame. Amazed that the tourists crowding nearby tacky tourist streets have not discovered this. We sat and watched the sun set over Notre Dame. Menu is a little limited but adequate and prices normal for that area for dinner. I enjoyed my duck and creme brulee. Service was pleasant. To find it walk just past Notre Dame on the left bank of the river (but to the right of Notre Dame if looking at it from the front) and go down some steps to the lower footpath of the riverbank. The boat is the second of 2 boats along there about 100 metres or so. Pleasant also to take a walk before or after dinner further along the lower riverbank about 5 minutes. We found 3 salsa dancing clubs there in the open air.
