We strolled into this cafe and were immediately impressed by the bohemian atmosphere. The staff were polite, attentive and make a damn fine cup of coffee (good flat white). The coffee shop was cozy and beautiful, the muffin tasted amazing, unfortunately the owner mood didn't match the shop vibes. He was so rude with us, even when one of my friends tried to translate his french, he was mocking us and screaming and also, while in line for payment, he repeatedly pushed us because there wasn't enough space for us to stand and for him to serve other clients. Ideal location with a very welcoming barista. service, caffè latte and biscuit granola were great. the place is worth the detour if you walk along the duck canal. I'll be right back.

I spent a precious time in this coffee for a few months between 2017 and 2018, I wrote, thought, was happy and sad at a pivotal moment in my life. I’ve been there today and nothing has changed, in my head it’s a little corner of San Francisco in Paris. I don't know why this place does that to me. But I can only recommend it.
