Was Léon Blondel at Jamin a mag?
I have been to this restaurant during the last 20 years, as we live very very close to it. As I lived abroad during the last 4 years, I was really eager to come back to this restaurant, for my first dinner in Paris. I was very very happy to see, to feel, to smell that Jamin's spirit is back. New team (March'17) did improve nicely the previous experience I had, with a mix of recipes inspired from original Jamin restau... View all feedback.

I had a great diner at Jamin!Great attention to ingredients and coking method. The white fish was perfectly cooked! vegetables still crunchy and so tasty! a light meal (after a nice salad) in a superb restaurant.Don't be scared by the black wall and close atmosphere. Food and service are delicious :)

Very good reception, waitress listening. The kitchen is good. just a small point to improve on beef tartare, a little too much excavation on shallots, it was noted by the waitress, but otherwise excellent meat, excellent dessert. we'll be back there without any problems.

When we said that we would not stay here, we got a table below, in the main room. We hardly sat, we got the first floor of a menu that we had not ordered. we wanted to eat a la carte. when we had settled this, a nice evening began with good food and great wine. but it is actually expensive, and a bit more friendliness the waiter could not hurt either. don't think we're coming back.

Friendly service, but way too expensive: 28€ for a starter and dish of the day, 6€ for a Coca Cola... The portions are quite small too, so definitely not worth the price. Also the seasonings were not great very salty and with unnecessary alfalfa seeds everywhere.Unfortunately this seems to be quite common in that area of Paris!
