Georges Abstraction Surface Air - Paris

I came here for the view but was also hoping for a great meal and I was not disappointed. I almost cancelled because I read some bad reviews and thought maybe I had made a bad choice for our last night in Paris. But decided to take a chance. In so glad I did. I perfectly timed my reservation around sunset and I was treated to an amazing panoramic view of Paris and the Eiffel Tower in all its glory which looks especially magical during golden hour. Our seat wasn't directly next to the window but we still could see everything. We ordered pasta and lamb chops. We had a burrata as a starter and berries and cream for dessert. Everything tasted delicious and we were very happy with our selection. Our server was very cordial and professional. The ambiance, service and Food were as special as I had hoped it would be and the evening was a very memorable Parisian experience.

Grifted. this place deserves a negative star review. this place is truly predatory- it targets people who have never been to paris and is even unable to offer a decent view of the city. immediately when i entered with my partner, the setting felt unprofessional and off. we were offered a view near the windows but when i sat next to my partner to view it with her, the waiter said it was unacceptable. i had to sit across and remain unable to view the city. bear in mind that the restaurant was practically empty wt this point. the food was dramatically overpriced. we ordered a tuna tartar that was less than a cup for 28 euros. the carpaccio had a whole stem of basil on it. i was offered peas and received green beans. steamed with oil and salt, incredible! 30 euros for this mess of a meal. at the end, our waiter had the audacity to ask for a tip. denying of course a decent food and a decent meal. i asked to clarify, ensuring that i did not misunderstand: in paris, it is rare to do this except for extraordinary experiences. do not come to this place unless the management changes. a grift against fine cuisine.

Go for the view and the ambiance, and not for the food, and you will not be disappointed. It can be intimidating as the entire waitstaff look like they are fresh out of the runway. There was also DJ music. But we lucked out with a very friendly server, who did break the ice. Yes, sitting on a bench with a stranger in a relatively empty restaurant was really weird. Some people chose to sit at the empty end of the restaurant for that reason. But luckily for us, our neighbors left much earlier than we did. I did enjoy the fact that we were not rushed out of our table, as I was waiting for the Eiffel Tower to light up and wanted to enjoy drinks, coffee, and dessert after dinner. If the prices are too much for that, then yes, you can absolutely enjoy the same view from the terrace for free.

Excellent place in Paris for lunch on the terrace, when it makes a beautiful sun! Small weak for the carpaccio de Saint-Jacques, but everything is good!...
