What Miriam Messina doesn't like about Fujiyama paris etoile:
Standard no frills Japanese joint. Has a decent selection of sushi and yakitori items, with a few other things such as hot udon, deep fried stuff. The staff are Chinese, and very nice and efficient, and the place doesn't look like somewhere that is totally...packed so I think you can always get a table even without booking. Sushi looks good, reasonably generous with fish. Like much of that in U.S. a bit lacking in taste (perhaps because fish had been frozen?). Not bad, but not great if you are accustomed to high-end places. We ruined one or two pieces of fish by dipping in sauce from Yamasa soy sauce container.
