On our way walking towards Palais du Luxembourg we came across Le Tournon. It's a bit out of the way so it was not crowded and locals were having their cafe. What was enticing was that it is a typical Parisian bistro. Ordered a seafood salads that were amazing along with escargot. Cafe and dessert were also very good. Attracted by the cool, pleasant interior, we stopped for lunch in the cafe a few days ago. I had been craving a salad nicoise, and one was offered (at 22euro) so I ordered that. A pittance of tuna, slabs of anchovies, a few undressed haricots verts, a few slices of undressed boiled potato, pitted ripe olives (certainly not nicoise olives) and nice lettuce. New owner, new decoration, is a 10/10 for this reopening of the Tournon. Bravo to the Flottes family and especially to Adrien for this great place. Try an emergency!
