Visited the restaurant for a dinner, Tried their Kola Urundai Biryani and Pepper Chicken. Biryani was readymade as per their brand template, felt it was little cold. Pepper chicken was served hot. Location is near Gare du Nord-Paris North rail station. View all feedback.
What Laurence Dufour doesn't like about Dindigul Thalappakatti:
Food was good and tasty. But did not feel the Indian warmth for fellow Indians. Probably we needed a fair skin to be welcomed for this restaurant. Perhaps a European ! Even though food is good, may not visit again for this reason. Sorry. View all feedback.
Went here for lunch and had really yummy Lamb Biryani and chicken curry! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic indian food in Paris.
I went to the restaurant two times during my stay. Biriyani is really good, especially surprised with the taste of fish fry it's really very good. Service also very good, very friendly staff. Definitely will visit again during my next visit..
After a bad lunch experience at nearby sarvana bhavan, we headed here for dinner. Forst thing that struck me was that it was better kept, the staff was interactive and they had Wi-Fi!! The food was all Good, freshly prepared and tasted fine. The biryani was great, and I later found they r known for their biryanis. But being a vegetarian doesn't help in that region. All in all a good experience at reasonable prices. Recommended.
I reside in an European country where though there are Indian restaurants they are all watered down , non-spicy versions catering to the Europeans. So when I tasted the food at Thalapakatti, if I say I cried out of joy it would not be an exaggeration ! I felt I was back in South India, The spices, the aroma was exactly as one is used to in the Thalapakatti restaurants back in India, Special, kudos to Vasanth. We wanted to take parcels back and since a train ride was involved, Vasanth took special care to pack the food well.
Was superb in every way. We visited 3 times in 3 days we were in paris. Biryani was ofcourse the hit. The french waiter was also a fun guy. Would recommend for typical south indian food experience.
