Great atmosphere, really helpful staff, clear menus, delicious food and plenty of it. There’s a bit of a wait but that’s because it is all made to order and is really popular. View all feedback.
What Gabriel Chauvin doesn't like about Chez Alain Miam Miam:
Went here after we saw him in Anthony Bourdains show. We had only a few people before us when we got there around 1pm. Waited for about 25min. I ordered the "Veggie". It was a little too sweet for me, so if you order it, say that you don't want that much of honey poured in it. The salad literally drowned in olive oil and honey. Also be aware that there are no guarantees of high hygiene in the place. The owners hands... View all feedback.
Great crepes on an inconceivable casual spot.. We also had the Socca, which was slightly salted. The staff is not what you would consider to be friendly. Great neighborhood otherwise...
Casual place, but don't fool you. I had the most delicious Emmenthal and ham cheese Galette; my daughter had a sand she claimed was delicious, but I was too busy in my gallette, which was big enough for two meals.
Expect a long queue, but it will be worth it. Staff are very helpful, although the menu on the wall is only in French, would be much easier to choose if it was also in English. Finest quality of ingredients to choose and excellent...Sty Sandwiches. You can feel from the staff that they are passionate about food. The big miam miam can feed two people easily, came around 17eur for the sandwich and drinks. The seating is a bit cramped, but it works.
After hearing amazing reviews and queuing for over an hour, it’s safe to say we were incredibly excited for this sandwich. However, the man who I assume to be Alain spoke to me in English before speaking in French to other customers and...generating laughs. I felt a little uncomfortable and the man seeped arrogance. That all would’ve been fine if the sandwich was good. They looked incredible, but it was served with warm salad (lettuce, tomato, mushroom, onion) after toasting, and had a very soggy and sickly texture. I could have chosen not to toast the sandwich, but it seems the norm. Warm salad? So strange. A real shame.
Simply the best baguette/panini i have had in my life served by one of the nicest blokes. You pick your fillings in 3 stages, bread meat cheese and salads. You then choose toasted or not toasted. The mushrooms and onions are so tasty. I recommend...just saying yes to everything they offer. My partner had a crepe which she also enjoyed but it is all about the baguette/panini for me
