This place has a cool local vibe, and the bartenders are fairly knowledgeable (although I caught one looking up the recipe for my classic cocktail-- but the result was delicious). Had a few small plates that were tasty too. I'd say the drinks are somewhat overpriced for a place with a pleasant but basic ambiance, but otherwise a good option. View all feedback.
What Cali Wiegand doesn't like about Bespoke:
the light is so low that you can't read the map, the cocktails are at 1€ the cl and are not even exceptional. The chairs are not comfortable and we don't get along! Who do they think they are? View all feedback.
Nice little place to discover where it is both possible to eat and have great cocktails!! Sunday brunch, everything is good, the hardest is to choose!!!! (think to book)
This place is our idea of the perfect bar. First of all, the super friendly staff are what makes this bar great. They welcomed us each night (even when we thought they'd be sick of us by the fourth night :)) always remembering what we had enjoyed the night before. Artful, creative and perfectly constructed cocktails. After my first Negroni, the main bartender (sorry I didn't ever catch your name!) made one with a bit of a variation, hint of cinnamon, was fantastic! Very popular and busy but not too chaotic. Great vibe. Love the rustic decor. Welcoming to all ages (we are 40 and 40++ :) but still felt at home amongst the mostly 20-30 somethings. Good music. FOOD: excellent (enjoyed the pulled pork quesadillas, calamari, fried chicken sandwich). We have favourite bar spots in Rome, Barcelona... This is definitely now our Paris "go to"!Come here. Drink their awesome drinks. Eat their awesome food. Chat with the lovely staff. Repeat! Many thanks! - Kristina and Barry from Toronto
My husband and I went for brunch on Sunday and were very pleasantly surprised! I've been wanting to go here for a while, and am very glad we finally made it. True, the place is very hipster, but it's worth going despite the high prices (13€/cocktail).Brunch portions were perfectly sized and decently priced (about the same as the cocktails!). I had the fried chicken and waffles - thigh meat off the bone, and not completely covered in fried breading, which I found very nice. Really an excellent dish. The waffle didn't seem to be buttermilk, so it wasn't too sweet - nicely balanced. My husband had buckwheat blueberry pancakes with strawberries - I tried his as well, and very much enjoyed. My cocktail was 'I got 99 problems but a beet aint one' and it was delicious. My husband had a level 7 spicy **** mary (very interesting color), and it was really great and not too spicy. And to boot, the server and barman were very friendly and kind. They seemed genuinely interested in how we liked our cocktails and meals.
Bar type speakeasy very charming, the atmosphere is warm as well as cocktails (so it's finished excellent, we would drink barrels), the little tapas dishes are tasteful and the very nice service! Thank you, we'll be back!
I usually cannot go wrong with Tripadvisor and reviews - well it is the second time this week :/The second I entered the place I felt really good, nice deco, fresh and young. All started real well....then.....all went wrong and fast. The price was ridiculiously high cocktails were 12-14 euros. We tried Fortunato with a friend and others took two other cocktails. Ok, but the place got top rated so IT MUST WORTH IT, right? So they arrived....all 4 glasses looked like somebody played barista. Was the real one absent? Who knows....The cocktails had almost zero decoration - a lemon peel in one, a piece of dried lemon in the other, in ours a cherry in the bottom. I mean it was really looking like a cocktail under strong depression. Ok so let's pretend it's a minimalist concept. Two of us got baby portions, maybe they serve cocktails for kids? (10cl each). We went for a sip....... OUCHHH. Mine tasted like cheap sparkling rosé, though smelled fine....But cannot only smell it right? The 10cl one tasted alright - with pineapple and vodka I think - but stayed 10cl, for 12 euros.... I must add none of us got ice cubes. I never really had any cocktails without ice cubes so far, though I'm a regular consumer....Staff was okay, but when she answered if we liked it and I told the above mentioned problems, she was shocked and told us BUT THERE IS DECORATION DON'T I SEE?!! and 10cl according to her was a normal portion for a cocktail....I would like to sigh "oh France" ..... Paris was never the city of cocktails, or if so you must look long and reach deep into your pocket to get a decent one...a pity.I wish the managers would take critcism seriously, because it is nice to sell a concept but even better to sell great products along the way, too;)In the end I left most of my drink untouched...For 14euros that's a shame so a friend finished it...but he was not thrilled. My advice? Have a beer with friends and look further for a real cocktail....Cheers
