One of the more affordable Michelin star restaurants in Paris. Their prix fix menu at lunch can’t be beat. Food was clean and inventive. Service was attentive but not intrusive. View of Eiffel while dining was a plus View all feedback.
What Gabriel Becker doesn't like about Antoine:
expérience déceptive. on attend d'un restaurateur, qui plus est étoilé, qu'il ait quelque chose à "dire", à faire passer. "tout est dans le style" disait le regretté Louis Ferdinand". Ici pas de "style".Une succession d'EXERCICES de style, pas vraiment désagréables, car techniquement maîtrisés, mais sans que l'on ne sache vraiment où l'on essayait de nous amener; Bref, pour le prix, et le nombre d'étoiles, j'espérais... My wife and I decided to run the river and came over this jewel. we liked his elegant but still intimate atmosphere so decide to din and what a decision! it offered not only all aspekte of a fine dinning experience but before. all a very welcoming team of professionals. in any case, if they come to paris.
Celebrated the birthday of my wife by participating in the reservation menu for silvester. excellent meal, excellent and attentive service by the Antoine staff. would recommend to everyone to visit paris!
Had a great night in antoines yesterday. we, my wife and I, took a 5-course dinner and were not wisely disappointed. fantastic friendly staff and great equipment in the kitchen. every cure was surprising, delicious and beautiful. a favorite in paris.
Amazing eating and service here with views of the eiffel tower. I went for lunch, that was worth a lot for money in view of the 3 cursor meal, also the many extras made available between the curses. every penny worth
Antoine always is a wonderful adventure, always offers pleasure. The dining room, a gem of understated elegance, clean and spare, starched linens, polished silver, inevitably focuses the eye to the bank of giant nearly floor to ceiling windows that overlook the river to the Tour....The young wait staff seems to want to share your pleasure in the experience and is engaged, informal yet proper, informed, and warmly welcoming to their guests. “We are like a family here” our twelve-year old wine steward told us as we chatted pleasantly toward the end of the evening. And the food !! The brief menu is limited to what is seasonal. The dishes imaginatively composed and elegantly presented without ever being cute. M. Sombardier and his kitchen do all this without ever letting their attention wander far from the tastes of the freshest ingredients no matter how creatively combined. For M. Sombardier I suspect it is always about the tastes. And do try the “surf and turf”. I am convinced that each week there are a hundred French ducks hitchhiking up from Gascony to form a line at Antoine’s back door so as to vie for the opportunity to climb into the roasting pans and bid the chefs “adieu” with a happy smile. An added bonus is that an evening at Antoine will set you back less than a mortgage payment or tuition for your child at a private college. What’s not to like.
