Toscano is one of our favorite restaurants in Parede. If you’re looking for a special occasion restaurant (romantic date-night, birthday, anniversary or just small family celebration) this is a great choice. The waitstaff is personable and attentive. The food is wonderful. They have an extensive dessert cart and long wine list. On most visits, the women in our party get a flower from the Maitre d’. I highly recommendable arroz do tamboril or peixe no pão. They also have private space for special gatherings. Call ahead

Place I go with my family since I was born, great fish on the bread, my favorite is the dourada and the seafood is the freshest you can get. The service is spot on, with the same waiters as always, it's great to go to a place and see the same familiar faces that recognize you every time. The touch of the rose for the ladies on the end is quite nice, didn't get any the last few times I've there though. It's quite expensive but you're also buying the great view to the beach.

Um clássico da Linha de Cascais.Restaurante familiar a “puxar para o fino” que os preços finais são puxados.A cozinha é tradicional e competente.Para mim tem as melhores Espetadas de Tamboril que já comi.Já uma Lagosta Suada que foi feita a pedido não satisfez plenamente. Não pelo produto em si, mas por as variações na confecção do prato que não me agradaram ao palato.O serviço é amável e discreto e feito com a competência de quem o faz há muito tempo.O estacionamento pode ser complicado aos almoços no fim de semana.Gosto e recomendo!

Toscano is located in Parede, just alongside the Marginal (the coastal road that takes you from Lisbon to Cascais). The restaurant partially overlooks the ocean if you book the right tables. It's been decades since I have last dined here, back then I wasn't a big fan I found it to be too expensive for what I consider to be average food. On my most recent visit last week, we went because everything else was closed, and I am glad we did since it was a very pleasant experience. For our little family gathering of three, we ordered Bacalhau a Bras (salted Cod, eggs, and fries mixed) and the grilled Grouper. All of the dishes were quite good, the Grouper was fresh and the Bacalhau dish was well put together. Overall, the dinner was quite good, but the desserts were outstanding. We had the Serica (a regional egg based sweet from Alentejo) an Almond cake and another egg based Portuguese sweet. While the dining experience was good what made it memorable was the service which was truly outstanding. Unfortunately, this level of service is increasingly hard to find these days.
