The atmosphere is excellent and the ambiance is also very pleasant. I recently drank several beers and ate a zander fillet there. Both were delicious. Even when leaving the restaurant, you 're not simply dismissed – the chef even holds the door open for you. Service and hospitality are clearly a top priority here. The restaurant 's culinary offerings are solidly mid-range. I opted for the so-called Herrenschnitzel (Herren schnitzel) – served with braised onions and herb butter. It tasted good, the ingredients were fresh, and the preparation was impeccable. It was tasty, but nothing particularly outstanding or memorable. The price, at €17, is within acceptable limits. Overall, a pleasant visit with personal service and down-to-earth cuisine. If you 're not expecting culinary highlights but do value a friendly atmosphere, this is the place to be.
