But what you will get is a rustic and authentic mountain cuisine restaurant with proper charm. The owner came to the table and explained the menu to us and the type of cuisine they served. They specialise in game foods like wild boar and venison but they do serve others like calamari and fish. So, food is absolutely amazing, very home made, delicious and value for money. Lots of locals were eating there when we went. My wife had the oxtail, I had the grilled wild boar with blue cheese sauce. All delicious. Wild boar was sooo tender and had a wonderful chargrilled taste. The blue cheese didn't add or detract from it and it was served separately. Overall, if you are planning a trip out to Ronda in the morning, try this restaurant for your lunch on your return journey rather than the other restaurants actually located in Ronda old town.
