We have been at this restaurant twice for dinner during our stay in Puerto del Iguazu. We dont often repeat restaurants when traveling. But the fresh fish and steak drove us back! The prawns pasta is also excellent. All always very fresh!! Staff is nice and the view to the river, 3 borders is spetacular. Our favourite! If you want to stay away of touristic traps, this is the place to go.

The big plus of this restaurant is its location - as you read in all the guidebooks. Unfortunately that is also its only real plus and the restaurant has built its entire fortunes on it. And why not? It's always packed with Lonely Planet-driven crowds so it doesn't need to do much. We were told there would be "a 30-minute wait" for the food and did not mind: as Italians, we are in no hurry when eating and are happy to wait for freshly prepared food. The wait turned out to be over an hour and more importantly, the food was just average. If you want to look into the darkness outside the terrace and say "Brazil and Paraguay are somewhere out there!" this place is for you. If you want to eat good, genuine food, look elsewhere.

Thuis restaurant has an excellent terrace view over the three borders point at the river crossing of the Paraná and the Iguazu rivers. I ate a Surubi Bocamora (local fish) which was excellent. Our hotel recommended we choose fish here, my girlfriend took grilled chicken instead and it was rather dry. Waiting times were quite long too but maybe that was because we went on Christmas Eve. If you choose fish here you will be rewarded, if you don't like fish a lower score is in order.

Staying at the Amerian Hotel and preferring not to eat in hotel restaurants, we walked the 3 mins to this restaurant ... what a find. Yes, it helps to speak Spanish, but the service was great, the Bife de Chorizo the best we had in Argentina (and at €7 ridiculously cheap) and the wine just slipped down. So good we went again, taking our two teenagers with us.. Great views, but not a romantic venue

We just arrived in Iguazu after a 3 hour delayed flight and we were starving! 3pm lunch was perfect: Pacú with pinnacle and vegetables, would strongly recommend this restaurant!
