The rest is a gambl... read more I’ve been going to this restaurant for years for takeaways and occasion meals in for the family. The takeaways are 50/50 chance of being ok. The rest is a gamble. I keep going back because this place is convenient and I like to support local businesses. But after the last time. No More! We ordered the halloumi pitta, a mixed pitta and a potion of fries. Which I picked up at the appointed time. This time the meat was definitely reheated, hard and barely warm it was awful. One piece tasted of some sauce that wasn’t meant to be on it. The sheftalia were Luke warm and simply tasted bad and old. The fries were a soggy damp mess that reeked of old burnt cooking oil. I had to throw them. 36 hours later I was very sick with stomachache and had diarrhea and vomiting. I have been no where else for food out in weeks. I sadly will not be returning to ‘chance’ this food from Aloni again. Shame on them. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €15–20 Food: 1
