Food: Food was great, what we ordered at least. A lot of sushi, chicken and salmon teriyaki and some other side dishes. Food arrived fairly fast, but there were hardly anyone there at the time. The price is steep though. We ended spending about USD32 per person. Including drinks. Staff and service: The girl who was serving us was very friendly and nice. The area is semi open. So don't expect air-conditioning, but it was quite windy. Conclusion: good place to eat Japanese food at least once if you're in Suriname.
Real Japanese cuisine. That's for shore. They have a nice choice of menu and 3 Chef's working on display. Price -quality is not expensive at all. And the presentation of the food is lovely to look at, of what you can aspect of Japanese food. The restaurant opens at 6 pm. After 8 it gets more busy.
We only had had dessert and drinks, but the service was good. Would definitely recommend to try.
Nice place. I went early, so not many people there. Shop is set up to handle a large amount of people, but I only saw two hibachi tables at the entrance. Prices were comparable to alot of places in the States. Sushi was very good with a few different flavor combinations. The signature Sushi-Ya roll was very unique.
