What stephanie b dislikes about De Gadri:
I got rice, fish (Kandra Tiki) and greens (antroewa bitter melon). The fried fish was delicious. Unfortunately, the 2 greens had too much sugar and took away the healthy Oso Nyang feeling for me. The sweetness was to an extend where I couldn 't eat all of it. This dish was also served with a slice of fried plantain, enough pepper and ofcourse the slaw, tomato slice and cucumber. We arrived after 1 PM, ordered daily r commended of chicken and Pom along with vegetarian fried rice. Good was out in minutes, delicious and filling.

Yes! If you're visiting and want to explore local dishes, then this is the place. It's mostly outside on the banks of the Suriname river. The staff are friendly and more than helpful when selecting a local dish. Pom was fantastic but the casava bojo! Pretty sure this is how babies are made! I know one place I'll consistently visit when I'm in town.

Well well well … what can I say! Where to start? How to begin… it started for me as a mysterious place you know somewhere you can eat te Fort Zeelandia. Until I formally got introduced to them by someone who is both special to me and loves great food! Now even the company I work for buys their amazing delicious food for lunch by the dozen . Well deserved 5 stars

Really nice waarom where you can eat and pay like a local. Very busy during working days. Specially locals working there. It is very close to Fort Zeelandia, therefore you can grab a seat there and enjoy some nice beers and food along the Suriname river. Totally recommended if you need to find a place to try some local food and you do not where in the centre.
