Philoxenia Beach Project

The beach with stones, few restaurants, poor and expensive menus compared to other resorts. I served dinner at a distance of 1.5-2 km by car and 18 km on a sandy beach where I went almost every day. I did a lot of km, it's not really worth it. Rooms: 2 Service: 1 Location: 1

The position of the villa is excellent, located right on the beach. The owners speak English so you could get along with them if they weren't so overbearing. I booked two quadruple rooms with them, in the same period, but different reservations and, although I paid for both and sent them a message to which they replied, they were surprised to see all 5 of us requesting two rooms. The quadruple rooms are actually double rooms, in which another double bed was crammed, so that the space became insufficient even for two people. Those with partial sea views are even more cramped. They are equipped with two large, comfortable beds, a wardrobe, a chest of drawers, smaller for those with a partial sea view, a hair dryer, a single bedside table, fully occupied by a lamp, useless, because it is connected to the only socket available in the room , arr conditioned, mounted above the bed, for the sensitive, can only be used if you are not in bed. The space in the closets is insufficient, and the lack of hangers makes half the closet useless. The kitchenette is equipped with some crockery, what is left in each room, glasses and mugs, refrigerator, stove and a non-functional hood. The bathrooms are small, cramped, the shower tub is only shaped, because there is no room in it, not even for a normal, thin person, and all the water ends up on the floor and from here in the room, especially since the shower is full of limestone and throws water everywhere, and anyway it has no pressure, it's like using a water gun. We had the most authentic Scottish showers. The balcony, equipped with a table and 4 comfortable chairs, has a wonderful view, which you can enjoy after 12 o'clock. Until then, you can't stay for more than 5 minutes because you get all the sun from Greece, from the first hour. Cleaning in the room was done on request in 6 minutes, I don't know if it is done regularly or not. Another big minus is the lack of toiletries in the bathroom, which they say they have.
