We stopped by to refuel and ended up leaving with a full tank and a satisfied appetite after enjoying the best brisket I've ever had. This charming little eatery is nestled inside a gas station, run by a friendly mom-and-pop team. They serve ribs, pulled pork, and brisket, which I learned had been smoking since 6 a.m. They also offer three tasty sides, which the staff kindly allowed me to sample. The unique setup, engaging staff, and delicious food will definitely make me return whenever I'm in the area. Additionally, they have a section featuring real fruit smoothies that are absolutely worth trying, if you have any room left!
I stopped by tonight right before closing to grab a to-go order of a three-meat platter. I really enjoyed the ribs and brisket, as both had great flavor and were tender. However, the pulled pork disappointed me; it just tasted like plain pork with no seasoning. I was expecting at least a hint of smokiness, but it was quite bland. For my side, I ordered the cowboy beans based on the recommendation of the employee who took my order. These were definitely the highlight of my meal and among the best I've ever had.
Wow! This charming family-owned restaurant serves recipes passed down from their grandmothers. The BBQ food is incredible—definitely the best ribs, beans, and potato salad I've ever tasted. It's a cozy spot located inside a gas station, and I'm so glad I stopped by. The prices are also very reasonable. It's truly a hidden gem!
