Southern Girls Bbq - Pangburn

I've never had a bad experience here. My Dad loves their chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes, and he is super picky. So trust me, they must be great! ? Love the homemade desserts and the Pig Pen.

I was staying in town visiting from Oklahoma and got take out. I ordered half a rack of ribs and a pound of sliced brisket. The ribs were outstanding! Very tender and flavorful, and it was a large portion. The sides of beans and okra were great too! The brisket had a nice smoky flavor and also was prepared to perfection. The ladies working there were super friendly too and made sure my order was correct before they let me leave. I hope to visit Pangburn again and when I do…I’ll be back!!!

The people were nice and on point. The tea....wasn't. It was sugar water. They said they don't make the BBQ sauce, but it was good. The burger was juicy and tender, and had a good, but mild, taste. The ribs were tender, but the taste was bad. The pulled pork was dry, with a really bland taste. I couldn't taste smoke on anything.
