We were in a villa. They say it sleeps ten, but I don't see how. Two bedrooms, a king and two double rooms, then a pull-out couch. We had six and couldn't have fit anymore. Kitchen was well dimensioned and had all cooking utensils. Living room was quite large. Beach was right in front of the front door, it was fantastic! Pools were small and lazy river was tiny, but temperatures were warm and water well maintained. C... View all feedback.
What Melody Nunes doesn't like about The Sandpiper Beacon Beach Resort:
Location is good on outskirts of congested traffic. Ground floor rooms short walk to parking and beach. Pet friendly rooms, but lacks adequate area to walk dogs. Overwhelming Chlorine smell in room and pool areas. Other guest are up and down corridors late late night running and yelling. No ice machine. The 7lb$ bag too big for mini fridge. Outdoor Activity areas need to be cleaned better. This place accommodates you... View all feedback.
I've been staying at the Sandpiper for years and love it. Great staff, amenities. The rooms are always clean. Being right on the beach is wonderful. The prices during off season are very reasonable. The only complaint I have is they started charging $20 a night for an extra vehicle. There where 6 of us. 4 adults and 2 teenagers. There's no way to only have 1 vehicle with 6 people. In the past we've never had to pay for an extra vehicle. $20 a night is a bit pricey. Just my thoughts.
The activities and facilities are amazing! The pools are awesome and clean. The Tiki Bar is fantastic and fun! The resort, as a whole, is very clean. We have 3 rooms for 11 people. The rooms are all very different. The biggest room is spacious, but the layout is a bit odd. The 2 smaller rooms are just that... Small! If we could change anything about our visit, it would be that we got 3 of the larger rooms. If we visit Panama City Beach again, we will probably stay here for the activities and atmosphere, if for no other reason. This place is super fun! The small rooms and odd layouts are the only thing holding me back from giving a 5 star review.

We'll stay here again.
I love this place. My family and I have been staying for my sons birthday for the past 4 years. It is time for some TLC. I saw a few roaches inside and out. It felt dusty. The water as we showered would not go down the drain.
Family friendly. The kids loved the lazy river, pool, and hot tub. We enjoyed the Polynesian show. Easy access to the beach. They could do better with the maintenance and updating the rooms a bit. The carpet did not look so well.
